There is no hotter ticket in town right now than the Cowboys playoff game against the Lions. If you have an invitation to go, bring it on the fashion front. Everyone will be there and they'll be decked out.

Saints fans do not fear the bling or have any trepidation dressing up. I have been to a ton of Saints games as both a fan and reporter and am always impressed at how they bring it. I have seen Christmas elves, priests and zombies in full regalia at the Superdome.

Fashion counts at Cowboys games. Plain and simple. What you wear is more important almost as important as what happens on the field. While you can get away with wearing jerseys to games in Green Bay or Minneapolis, games at AT&T Stadium call for your Sunday best.

With the weather still on the warm side, I think a tank and sophisticated jeans is a great way to go. Go with a wedge shoe if you're a heels girl. If you like a flat, you will LOVE Yosi Samra's.

Jewelry is the perfect way to support your favorite team in style. The silver Alexis Bittar lucite bracelet paired with the navy top screams Dallas Cowboys...in a good way. It's also a good gameday investment because it tends to last longer than a trendy piece of clothing. Wear Alex and Ani's Cowboys bangle set to show you're a fan throughout the week.

Remember you must abide by the NFL's bag and purse policy. AT&T Stadium's is a bit more liberal. Mo Claiborne knows what you're thinking.

"I’m that guy they traded up to get," the Cowboys cornerback told me one afternoon while unpacking furniture and boxes at his new home.

The Cowboys all-time sack leader will be plying his craft in Denver, Miles Austin will be catching passes somewhere other than Dallas and Jason Hatcher is taking meetings in Seattle and Oakland, what's next for the Cowboys?

Henry Melton broke the news he was joining the Cowboys before the team actually did.

He sent out that Tweet Tuesday evening while the Cowboys didn't send out the formal press release of his signing until Wednesday afternoon at about 3:25pm.  There is nothing out of the ordinary about this.  Players break their own news on social media quite a bit.

What does his signing mean for the Cowboys?  What's the next order of business for Dallas?

Super Bowl XLV Experience | Review

For those of you not interested in shelling out four figures (at least) for Super Bowl XLV tickets to see the Steelers and Packers play on February 6th, you can get the full NFL experience at, well, the NFL Experience.

It opened at the Dallas Convention Center Thursday night.  Producer's bill it as "pro football's interactive theme park offering participatory games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids' football clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football memorabilia show ever."  Here's a link to all of the activities and exhibits you can find there.

Going into the 2010 season, the Cowboys had optimistically hoped to be playing on their home field in Super Bowl XLV on February 6th. 

Then the season happened.

Cowboys Running Back Tashard Choice Explains Why He Asked Donovan McNabb For An Autograph

Cowboys running back Tashard Choice has been a better defender than any member of the Dallas secondary the last few days.  After infamously asking Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick to autograph a glove minutes after Vick's Eagles had just beaten Dallas Sunday night, Choice's autograph hound impersonation has lit up the Twitterverse, blogosphere and sports talk world.

On Monday, Choice tweeted this apology:

If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me. I apologize to the people it was just an innocent jesture for my nephew.

Wednesday, he revisited his actions and explained that he wasn't apologizing for asking for the autograph.  Rather, the apology was for "the simple fact that it brought negative attention to the Cowboys, period," he said. "That's something I don't like to do."

Any regrets?

"The only thing it did was mess up my doggone surprise for my nephew on Christmas," he lamented.

Cowboys vs Rangers Ratings War

It's so funny.  People say one thing and then do another.   Shocking.

I get email after email from fans telling me to shutup about the Cowboys preseason.   The games don't matter.  Give the division-leading Rangers the respect and coverage they deserve.   Those are the tame suggestions.

Texas Stadium Memories

Like so many Dallas natives, I grew up watching the Cowboys play at Texas Stadium on Sunday afternoons.  I would ask my grandfather just about every Sunday why the shadow on the field was so weird and why there was that weird hole "on top".  He would always answer with the familiar refrain "there's a hole in the roof so God can watch the Cowboys play."  For years, YEARS, I truly believed that. 

I remember watching listening to Brad Sham scream "TOUCHDOWN TONY HILL!!!" in the closing seconds of a 1979 game over the Redskins.  When I went to work for the Cowboys it became known as the "Touchdown Tony Hill" game.
